executable files
Hi there!
Is it possible to create a exe file in Excel 2003 VB 6. Seems like VB 6 is only the extension of excel and not the full version?
What I mean is that there is no "Make Project exe" in the file menu and a exe isnt stored in the debug folder when the program is compiled.
So far I have compromised by creating a Add-In for the macro and put a password on the VB code!
Is this all I can do??
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanx

Re: executable files
VB in excel is VBA visual basic for applications
if you want to make exe you need to get (buy) vb6 or you can download and use for free vb.net 2008 express edition
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
