    Question

    Hi ya'all....
    I thought I saw a article about how search engines work... You know.. like when I type Beer, that it automatically searches for bear, and beer too....

    I have made a search engine, but it only searches for the exact string.. Does anyone know or does anyone have an idea how to do the thing above ?

    my guess would be to use some sort of a dictionary search and use the closest matching words.
    When I write my code, only God and I know what it means. But a week later, only God knows.

    I read somewhere on this site, how to add MSOffice's dictionary to your apps, try searching for it

    But I'm also looking how to do something like that in CGI/Perl... But I know I'm not on the right forum for that :-)
