I'm having problems with creating crystal reports in visual studios 2005. Here is what I am doing:
-Add new item and click on Crystal Report and click ADD
-Now I use the Report Wizard/Standard and click OK
-From Data I use ADO.net DataSets and select one and then select a table from that dataset (ie. Company) and click NEXT
-From Available Fields I select the field I want displayed (ie. Company Name)
*Here is a note. When I click on the Browse Data it displays Type as String and Length as 50 but nothing in the box.
-Grouping I skip along with Record Selection
-Report Style - Standard and then click Finish
When I click on Main Report Preview I get the Company Name as a header but under that instead of listing all the company name from the dataset is list colors ie. yellow, blue, etc.
What am I doing wrong?
