is there a way to stop people from cracking an Access DB password
is there a way to stop people from cracking an Access DB password
I set a DB password that was letters and numbers and more then 10 in length and a free password recovery tool grabed it in less then a second

Take a look at setting up user level security on it. (see link)
It might make it more difficult to break.

If your serious about security in MS Access then it might be worth investing in a book. In the link above there is a good book on Access Security recommended on it neat the bottom. (Garry Robinson's book Real World Microsoft Access Database Protection and Security)
ps. If your database sits on the network somewhere then I would also lock down which users can access the folder where the Access Database sits.
