Checking results of a SP in a Crystal Report?

I have a Crystal Report 11 in which the datasource is a Stored Procedure. If the SP executes and returns 0 rows, how can I check a field in a formula field? For example, in the screen shot...I want to check the field
"noActivityResp". What exactly do I check for if no records are returned?
