    For the taskbar portion of my program, I have a list of proggies that are currently running. the text comes from getwindowtext. now i used to have a project (before a hd crash, no backup ) that used findwindow to bring up the window. does anyone have a proc similar to what i describe?

    You mean to "unminimize" it? Use the OpenWindow API function.
