Firefox V3
I've just installed V3 of Firefox and have found updates to all but 1 of my existing add-ins ( ) but noticed the 'Back' button doesn't have a 'history' like the 'forward' button does.
Is this by design? (doubt it). I hope it comes back in a future update. as I use it all the time

Re: Firefox V3
ok i just tried it. My realplayer download plugin doesn't work!
however you are incorrect. It now has ONE history bar that combines them both. Visited pages are in the dropdown.

Yes; this behaviour is the same as used in Internet Explorer 7. If you go back, the highlight simply moves downwards in the list. I find this pattern more intuitive than separate lists, personally.

I'm not sure that I like the large size of each entry, but I do like the adaptive results.

Re: Firefox V3
If you try the most up-to-date version of RealPlayer the plugin should work - it's working OK here on the dev builds.

I had a problem with getting flash to work, but that was with the RC2 version, and also it's fixed now.
And I feel like I'm the only one who likes the new address bar...

Nah, I like it too. I've been using it for months now and I don't think I could do without it after this long.

I'm using oldbar too, I don't see the point of it searching through my bookmarks because if I bookmarked it, then I should remember it. I don't suffer from memory loss just yet.
The history list places a bullet point next to the location in history at which you're currently at.

Re: Firefox V3
I found when I installed FF3 it put 3 icons on the desktop, a short-cut, plus two fire fox icons that I couldn't delete until after I rebooted my pc. What is up with that?
Edit:
Also is anyone else experience in lag between the time you actually double click the exe (or short-cut) to the time the browser actually displays something? This happens to me and the browser only opens after I have opened windows explorer, etc.

For some strange reason mine keeps doing as I said in my previous post. I noticed on the Windows Task Manager that FF wasn't listed under application but under processes, is this normal? FF only display in the application section when the browser is displayed.

not really. if you refer to post 15 ( or test it yourself) you will see that right clicking is just the same as clicking the arrow. no time saved what-so-ever.
