!! Need Help With Chat Server Console !!

I am in need of help and I am trying to write code for a Chat Server. The code for the Chat Client works alright, but then I need to fix the code so that it will for work on my computer for the Internet App. That I am building.

Looks like the Multi-User Chat code from the CodeBank...what problems are you having?

For someone to be able to connect to your server over the internet, you need to setup port forwarding on your router for your computer. You would open whatever port the server uses (1234 by default). And also allow access to this port through your firewall if you have one installed.

How am I able to setup Port Forwarding on my computer I am running Windows XP SP3 and wish to still have it as a desktop computer system. But the heart of the DOOM Network is my desktop computer. All of the resources that I have been able to use are the works of this forum, which is called vbForums.

To connect to you router/firewall setup.

1. Open your browser
2. direct your browser to thise ip:192.168.0.1

From there one, depending on the router, you can access the port forwarding. Which you need to set up. Fore more help look for your router name and port forwarding on google. Proably some guide telling you have to.

ooh as DigiRev mention, look in the multichat program, there some help to find there about thise.
