I'm going crazy trying to find a good installer that won't cost me a fortune. Does anyone have any suggestions on what installer to use that will do Reg keys and other advanced settings. I've tried GKSetup, can't get it to work right.

TIA,
XinMan

Yeah, I tried GKSetup but it didnt work for me either. I ended up "getting" InstallShield 5 and I find that it gets the job done. If you dont "get" it like I did, it will cost a fortune. Email me and I will give you more "info."

*LOL*

well setup1.vbp ships with VB, and you can pretty easily modify it :-)

Setup1.vbp sucks, yeah you can edit it, but right now I don't have the time to sift through all the bullshit MS put into.

If you have a registered version of VB 6.0,
you can download the visual studio installer free at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/downloads/vsi/download.asp
I WAS using installshield express 2.0.
I have been using Visual Studio Installer 1.0 since September and it is much better. It really did all the work for me.
