LOL I must be the only with a steady girlfriend (hmmmm...) or the only one whipped enough to admit my plans. I am going to buy a box of those little valentines like you use to hand out in school and sign each and every one with some little lovey dovey note and hang them all around the house before she gets home and of course there will be the normal roses and a nice romantic dinner out. We are also celebrating a little early by going on a little romantic getaway this weekend to Cherokee, NC in the Smoky Mountains.
smh

I should give you my phone number and have you call my fiance to give him a few hints.....
(I'm going to go cry in the corner now...)
I have been with my fiance over three valentines days.
The first year, he did pretty good. He got me a Valentines teddy bear and a dozen roses. Later, I found there was a Black Hills Gold necklace around the teddy bear's neck.
The second year, he didn't get me anything until our roommate at the time asked what he had gotten me. He then made some lame excuse about having to go buy some supper and went to the closest store and bought me one rose that was almost dead. To top it all off, he didn't pick up anything for supper, and I had to cook something up fast.
The third year, I sent him a balloon bouquet at work to embarass him. Guess what he brought home for me....a different balloon bouquet. Very original!
Hopefully, he will think of something a little better this year......
(but, for some reason, I doubt he will.)

I will just drown my sorrows in a bottle of jack daniels.. and make fun of my goofy ass friend..and his even goofier ass girlfriend on valentine's day ;)

It isnt like i cant get a girl... ( self esteem boost here ;) hehe j/k )
But i really dont have much to say to a girl... and i know as shallow as this is going to make me seem..it is how i look at women right now...
When i see women on the street.. the first thing that comes too my mind is...yes you guessed it right ..SEX!
i dont look at a woman and think "wow she is so pretty..or i would be happy with her"... no no .. i check her over once or twice and then move on... yes i am a pig..yes i am shallow..yes i dont care about nothing else besides getting laid...but that is just the way i am... when i talk to a woman that i havent talked to in a long while... i have alot to say...as far as conversation goes... but then when one of us has to get off the phone..the girl will say "call me tomarrow i will be home at whatever time" .. i cant call them because i dont have anything to say...it has all been said...
That's completely different for me... sure it would be great to have sex, but there is this one particular girl that I like, Amanda, I like her A LOT, infact, I love her. I don't think about sex with her, because I respect her.
And usually sex isn't the first thing on my mind, or the last when I see a girl around here...... Most of them are so goddamn ugly it's not even funny... which is the main reason ;)
j/k
:)
I'm still waiting for my JD.........

See..you have to be in a city that has more women in it....i am sure there must be a gogglebillion females here in L.A. so that is why i see so many damn fine women :)
I'm sure the ugly ones are in the majority at over a whopping 95% ;)

Dudes my story is worse than yours. Last year I met this beatiful blond girl. She was tall, dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and you know almost everything a guy dreams for. Anyway I decide to buy her a big teddy bear and take it down to her house.
Well guess what???
Her boyfriend was there  and he mass me up bad.
You know what? If You ask me what I would do this valentine, I would probably tell you "I guess I go hide somewhere :o "

Sorry Dennis..
If I am not Sounding like an Advisor please consider my point..
You are Just 14 and whatever you feel about Girls
is just Infactuation..an effect of the testosterone
raising in strength from your childhood state.
The attraction you have for Amanda is not love...
it's just an attraction for one gender towards the
opposite gender ..and this can happen at any age.
So...what I am Saying is not that, you have sexual
interests in Amanda...but something closer to it..
and you have no knowledge of it because you
are not in control of your hormone system.
To Qualify your romantic relationship with someone
as love, you should be firm that it's not your harmone
that's attracting you to the girl but it is you - your heart
that's attracted. You will attain this state when you
reach the end of you teenage.

Why is it that so many people tend to moan and groan about being single? I just broke up with my boyfriend (of nearly 2 years) a few days ago. Yes, there is quite a bit of pain, he is my best friend and there's a lot of love, we are just not compatible in certain key areas. However, I am looking forward to this. I get to spend my time the way I want to. I get to choose what I do according to my wants. I don't have to worry if he like what I am wearing, only if I like how I look. I have more time to spend with friends. And I get to flirt without guilt.
The downside is I will miss the physical perks and I guess there is a certain comfort in knowing that there is a person who values you above anyone else. So, I am not saying dating is inferior to being single, but I just wanted to point out that there are huge benefits of both.
Okay, steppin' off the soap box now. ;)

Feb 5th, 2001, 09:35 AM
Good morning.
Yeah, I had a good weekend. I went to a basketball game with my parents on Friday night so that Mike could go out with friends. It was a really good game too, because my new team (the town that I just moved to a couple months ago) beat the life out of the team from the high school where I graduated. So, that made my Friday night.
Saturday was my son's birthday party. That went really well too, because Mike's sister (the one I really don't like) couldn't make it because of bad weather. .....(I'm so sad)....... Mike was really mad at her too, because Mike's cousin that lives half a block from his sister made it to the party just fine. She's going to be in the doghouse for a long time. (He He He He)

child down ?
Are you really Serious ?
smh
Feb 5th, 2001, 03:05 PM
Yes, I am.
You can see where I am from by looking under my name at the left of your screen. This narrows it down to what state I live in. In past posts, I have actually pointed out a town only eight miles from mine. If you look at some of my posts, you can figure out my first and last name. I don't have a very common name, so all you would have to do is open up a phone directory on the internet for my local area, and it would list my phone number and address. It's not really that hard to do.....
Are you scared yet?
By the way, this won't work on me right now, because I just moved 4 months ago. My listings on the internet have not changed yet. They actually aren't even listed now, because the phone was under Mike's name. I don't think I have said his last name anywhere.

Not to Reveal Personal Information on public forums.
But why not, you the ladies stop exchanging

By the Same Logic...The kidnappers can make use

you can remove the location from your profile, and it won't be displayed.

The would be kidnapper knows :
1.Smh likes asketball game and would like to go if possible with her parents on friday.
2. Her husband has a sister who doesn't have a good

3.February 3rd is her son's birthday.

'Time flies like an arrow' and 'fruit flies like a banana' are phrases that demonstrate the ambiguity of words in natural language. 'Flies' can be part of the noun phrase or the verb phrase, depending on the context. Shows how complicated natural language processing can be.

I like the skit where a person (usually Tony) has to guess who everybody is... but my favorites are the ones where 2 people are given a prop, and the other 2 are given another crop.... my 2nd & 3rd favorite is the worlds worst, and the hoedowns.....

Saw one episode where Ryan Styles kissed Collan Mockery right square on the lips, of course i was shocked in true homophobic fashion, but after that i giggled quite hard
I remember that one....
It seems that on every other episode, Ryan Styles is given the part to hump somebodies leg.....

Well, I think you would have lost your job after your first report, because you were not quite acurate.
First....I have only gone to 2 basketball games in the last 4 years or so. I only went because I wanted to see my old high school get slaughtered. I will probably not go to another game for another year or more.
Second...I do not have a husband (not yet at least, he's still my fiance), plus I have never let out Mike's last name, or his sister's name. Therefore, the kidnapper would be way off the mark about any information about Mike's side of the family.
Third...My son's birthday is not February 3rd. I just had his birthday party on the 3rd.
So, just to point out that you are making several assumptions, you were off the mark on all of them.

HI Smh,
SO you seem to be very angry...huh..
Calm down.. ;)
First of let me tell you that I said...those were the
kidnapper's perception about you whether it is right or
wrong. There is difference between an FBI agent
and a kidnapper. Reading that para alone...
a Kidnapper cannot know whether your son's birthday
is on...such and such a day..
OK ....Enough of this, now.
This place is supposed to be for helping each other
and certainly no place for quarrels. :)

Katie - she'll get no satisfaction from it, even if she did have any idea what I was doing. She doesn't know anything about my life any more (I think) which is the way I like it.
Anyway, the music they play around here isn't the kind I like to dance to.

If you need any appropriate music for the task then I've got a couple of nice tracks you might be interested, including such classics as 'Everyone I Love Is Dead', 'Love You To Death', 'I Know You're F***ing Someone Else', or 'Prelude To Agony'. Just about anything else Type O Negative do will be fine though I expect.

Katie - yeah I know exactly what it is, and it's prety bloody stupid if you ask me. What annoys me is that people expect a big deal to be made out of it and if it's not they get irritated. To be honest, to me, being single just saves me some money and effort to make a shallow gesture.

My cube mate works on the simulator for the F-22. I actually got to fly it during the Christmas Holidays when things were slow. It was very cool! Does JSF stand for Joing Strike Fighter over there too?

No, over here it stands for Joint Strike Fighter
Of course it does, where do you think the 'joint' bit comes from?
barrk
Feb 14th, 2001, 02:55 PM
Oops! Fat fingers today I guess...too much chocolate!
Anyway, I wasn't sure because acronyms can have multiple meanings depending on the industry.
We have two version of the JSF hangared by us. One is built by Boeing and the other Lockheed. They are going to have a "fly off" to determine which contractor to give the business too. The Boeing plane is really ugly but the Lockheed one looks similar to my airplane.
Why didn't you take the job? Too many secrets to pass the security clearance tests?

HarryW
Feb 14th, 2001, 03:02 PM
Yeah I prefer the Lockheed one too, although most people I've spoken to about it that know what I'm on about seem to prefer the Boeing model. I haven't seen much from the Lockheed camp, they seem to be playing it quiet, whereas Boeing are going all out and showing off about it. I went to the Farnborough air show last year, and Boeing had a JSF hangar with one of their prototypes on display. It looks like they just stuck the engine on as an afterthought. In fact, that's exactly what I said with one of the Boeing guys behind me  I don't think he was too impressed.
I never applied because a) I thought it might be a bit... governmental (which I've done before and it's really frustrating)... and b) they wanted a letter and I never know what to write. I still have letters to write though. Any tips?

I think that's because the subject just got totally changed for some very odd reason. I think programming would be a very strange sideline job for a pimp, and vice-versa.

I like a lot of "lovey dovey" music... I don't know why, I guess because it's just human nature to beleive what we hear in songs and see in movies will someday happen to us.
Anyway, if you like that kind of music, I recomend
Carlene
and
Just Another Day In Paradise
both by Phil Vassar.
And *Dennis hesitates* another song I think is decent is *Dennis hesitates again* My Heart Will Go On, by Celine Dion *Dennis cowers in fear of the English members of this board*
*Dennis recoperates from the beatings he recieved*
I also recomend anything by Faith Hill, and Martina McBride.
*Dennis hides in corner, just to be safe*
