Welcome to the Forums

The differences are great. There has been many threads on the subject with many many replies. Bottom line, think of the two as two completely different languages and you will be ok.

It even goes beyond language differences.

The whole software ecosystem is different. Forms and controls are a bit different, the way it decides to lay out a Project folder on disk is different, data access components are different, etc.

Well yes of course but I didnt want to write everything out again as we have had many threads on this topic for a few years now. so I think its best to show all the differences and views onthis topic with a search query :)
