The Big ONE!

It's my little boy's birthday today. I thought my birthday's were bad, but your children's are worse. I now technically have a toddler. He even took more than five steps all by himself last night.

At dinner today, he got his own cake to eat. I put it on the highchair tray and he stuck his finger in to taste it. After one taste, he smashed his hand down in the center of the cake and caused frosting and cake to fly everywhere. (I am so glad this happened at the daycare.) Needless to say, I gave him a bath while the kitchen was being mopped.

Does anyone have any interesting birthday stories (oh, yeah....and keep this clean!)?

I got hit by a bus on my birthday :rolleyes:

I suppose it might be an idea not to walk on the very edge of the pavement (sidewalk :rolleyes: ).

I fell off of a motorcyle one year.....

didn't hurt much though....

because it was parked.....

and I passed out.

Yeah...was walking too close to the edge and the bus hit my bag, spinning me round into an inconvienently-placed lamp-post.

Ouch.

So...did you pass out before or after hitting the ground? ;)

I was passed out loooong before I fell off. I only fell off because the guy holding me up got a little tipsy and lost his balance. I don't remember it at all.

I never rode on it. It was just parked outside near the bonfire, so we were leaning on it. I was couldn't handle much alcohol when I first started drinking.....come to think of it, I still can't. I'm too much of a light-weight.
