Ideas for a student assessment manager
In the summer I am going to develop some software in C#.
One idea I have is this:
COURSEWORK/GRADES MANAGER
- Add courses/modules
- Add lecturers
- Assign a lecture to multiple modules
- Add coursework/assignment
- Add exams
- Add grades for coursework and exams
- Assign multiple courseworks to a module
- Notification of courseworks due within 28 days
- Progress monitoring of coursework
- Grade categorisation (1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd, Fail)
What else would you add to this? Have I missed anything?
Thanks

Is this a Hobby Project I assume? I assume you will need somewhere to store student details?

There are probably a ton of those applications out there. I would find one and download the trial version and see what they have that you might be missing. The dark side of that is the potential that you might plagarize their work.

Re: Ideas for a student assessment manager
I would certainly include something that would cover something I did a lot at the beginning of each semester I was in college, and that is add/drop courses.
