I want to develope a applicaton , in VisualBasic 2005 Express Edition which used plain text sequential file and distribute to computers running w2k or professional .Will it cause a problem ? How do I distribute it .

It won't cause a problem, and how you distribute it depends on your market. If you're on an intranet, you email everyone and tell them to install it. If it's on a website, you give users a download link.
