Behemoth
Jan 29th, 2001, 06:39 AM
Hi all-
Arbiter:
It occurred to me whilst reading through some of your posts to Mr Baker, that we've had some ridiculous nights drinking sherry. I'm sorry if this ruins your street cred, but when a pair of drinkers like us discover theres no more beer left in the house - well, its not our fault if someone didnt lock your parents drinks cabinet...
We need to get drunk again. Soon.

Oh Ho ho
The cat is finally out of the bag, is it. Damn I wish I was still in manchester to give him a damn good ribbing.
Behemoth - He hasn't got any net access at work, and hasn't been around in the evening for quite a while.
i know - but hes currently campagning for its return.
To say the cats out of the bag's a little harsh though - the sherry was a last resort. we'd been through all the beer in the house, Yates' white wine and Bailey's first.
I believe his hangover was something spectacular. I was surprisingly clear headed.
still, im sure we could all have some great fun if you were in Manchester.

that excuse isn't going to rub off on me, there was alway's the meth's :)
unfortuantley, I was up there on contract, and that finished a couple of weeks ago and I'm probably not going to be up there again any time soon
and I believe that when you were up, you weren't on the meths yourself. I think its very selfish to rant on about the merits of such a classy drink when its obvious us underprivileged northerners couldnt possibly afford to drink it.
Bloody "lah-de-dah" meths and caviar crap.
and the bleach was that horrible pine-flavoured stuff...doesnt even get you drunk...

Think youself lucky that you had the pine-flavoured stuff.
we had to get under the sink, wait for mum to wash up, and then drink the water as it went down the plug hole.
it's grim down sarf ;)
i read your last post and didnt know whether I should laugh, cry, or be sick, so I went for a beer instead.
I had an odd, rather tasteless thought about beer last night. I'm not going to post it without someone elses request, so if your interested. let me know.

?
go on then, although I might regret it.
When you go for a p!ss after a night on beer, it has a head on it...no really...especially if its up against a brick wall somewhere...in the fog...
perhaps its not as tasteless as I first suspected, but its a strange observation nevertheless...
is this really the case, or is it that I noticed it because I would never p!ss against a wall outdoors sober?

one of lifes many wonders
You abvisouly don't get pissed enough as you wouldn't
have remembered things like that, I don't :)
I find alcohol actually improves my memory. some of my greatest achievements have occurred between bouts of giggling and vomiting. Its a shame my coordination gets all screwy and I start shouting.
Raaarrrggghhh!!

Behemoth thou hairy man!
How keepest thou?
I can't believe you told Ian about the sherry drinking incident! It was a temporary lapse!
Us northerners should stick together. I feel violated (and I don't meant the way you normally violate me - oops, giveaway!).
Ian,
Don't believe him, he knows naught of what he speaks.

I believe you aribiter, and by the way the pope's jewish
Arbiter - he couldnt match us whatever we were drinking. think of that! if we can even drink sherry better than him, the North truly is the home of champions!

unfortunatley behemoth, i only met hime the once and had to drive the 300 miles home afterwards, so I couldn't show my skill that have almost become an art.
Ian
Hmm. The art of sherry drinking..?
I'll remember that...
*new government slogan "Don't drink sherry and drive, you might be mistaken for a Southerner..."*

there's nowt wrong with being a southerner. I even enjoyed manchester as a place.

sorry mate, worded that a bit wrong. i ment when I was up there I quite enjoyed the place
the last thing you sherry drinking jessies want to be doing is p!ssing off hard drinking northerners by insulting our fair city..! (did that sound a little harsh?)

I wasn't insulting it, If iwas I would be saying it'a stinking cess pit (which it's not) ;)
sorry mate, too late for an apology....

i'm sorry you feel that way (bloody northerner's)
(damn, I'm typing out my inner monologues) ;)
I worry about the effect that sherry has on your sanity...
Ianpbaker

my sanity packed it bags and left for a non extredition country long before the sherry came along :confused::confused:
AHA! thats an admition.

for my sanity, you are correct. as for the sherry, I've given up trying to defend myself, so i'm humoring everyone at the moment.
Lets put it this way...im tired and irritable, im not sleeping enough and im drinking too much. if anybody in here's actually got any sherry, let me have some. I'd rather have a pint, but if sherrys the best on offer, let me at it!
COME ON!
