Hi, MSCOMM 6.0 question
Hi everyone!
Sry if this is the wrong forum, or this question has been answered multiple times before (please link me if so)
I have got a mic today and plugged it into the back of my PC, but what I want to know is, how can i recv data from it with MSCOM control, or if MSCOMM unique to USB devices?
In other words, is it possible to capture data from the mouse/keyboard/mic?
If so, how would i go about doing this?
Also on another note, (not so important, just curius) can i send sound wave/binary to the computer speakers with MSCOMM 6.0 control?
I need a reply asap (Im ADHD, lol) so i dont lose interest
Thank you in advance guys and gals!
edit:

Re: Hi, MSCOMM 6.0 question
nm I have been reading up on this all day long and i now know MSCOM control cant do this.
This post has helped me understand the consept alot:
http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...light=mic+data
Useing the sample code from there, I understand how to use directX sound to read the mic stream, but i am still unsure of some things, so i will make new post in the dx forum later or tomorow.
Now i have the binary from the mic, the fun begins of trying to understand it/parse it/detect voice patterns
love you all
