best way to play MP3

I'm currently using the windows media player but it sucks cause it skips. There has to be a better way to do this! Is there a ocx that's like winamp where you can edit all the stuff like CPU usage buffering etc. HELP! Thanks :)

If you find out let us know...I think there's a way of doing it with MMcontrol (MCI32.OCX) but I'm not sure how to change the buffer size, etc...maybe worth checking the microsoft site.
