Character/tile Sets

I was wondering if anybody knew of a good site that I can get or view character sets from old arcade games, i.e. mario or anything else, also if they know of a good program to make character or tile sets. thank you for your input.

I take it nobody knows of any program to make characters or tiles sets? So what you are trying to say is nobody makes there characters, they get them from somewhere else? but where?

It's an illegal site for RpgMaker 2000,
But it has a legal (I think) iDraw3 program.
It works very well and it has the ability to make a grid for ease of use.
I use it all of the time, I think you should use it as well.
As for the characters and tiles, go to www.rpgmaker.net
It has some usermade (non-illegal) stuff so go check it out!

But I found that site after I posted this a couple of days ago. I think it is a cool peice of software. I was just looking to see if anybody had another program.
