I have been asked to look into a possible solution that will inform a user when a laptop has to be taken home for the day / weekend / 1-2 weeks. I was looking at using the calendar control + some textboxes and storing the inputed data into a MS Access Database. The application would be monitoring the time and when that event occured an email would be sent to the user. Would this sound like a reasonable approach to the problem?
