Dependency File Out of Date

[Set me As newtype]

Gents -

The VB5 App Setup wizard gives me a message that some dependency files for .OCX files are "Out of Date."

This is probably a big part of my installation problem! Where can I get the correct dependency files?

No help, Fazi. Those links just install the basic VB components. They do nothing for an app that uses other active x components, which is what I'm having problems with - particularly the missing or out-of-date dependencies.

What are other activex controls ?

Active X controls are components that can be created and added to your project to add functionality. In VB, they are "shown" as icons, such as Rich Text Box, Dialog Box, etc... But in reality, they are a big time-saving tool that can save lots of programming for you.

I would suggest you make another post to learn about them.

set me. . I asked what is your other activeX controls that need the updated ocx file for distribution. Dont warry, you can get download the latest ocx files from thease websites also.
