it is not open source, dont ask for current source a lot of work has gone into this although if enough code contributions are made this may become a opensource project.
> Freeware
> professional
> Better then many other gfx editors
> simple/user friendly
> not over complicated/sophisticated as PSP, photoshop etc but not too limited
Helpers needed in (i havnt started these yet unless mentioned)
> beta testing/future testing/bug analayzers.
> image layering (there are open source libraries that do this already however)
> brush styles, a new class or record needs adding for gradient brushes, smudge, crayon (also contrast and light adjustments using the brush)etc.
>undo,copy,cut (paste done).
> more tools (text, shape etc, i started implementing hidden for now not quite 60% working)
> zoom (a good way not distorting pixels like StretchBlt etc);
> more effects, fractals?
> grid (i know this should be simple but my mind has boggled!)
> floating dock tool panels
> custom color pallette
> resize image
> free rotate
> solarize/polarize
> gaussian blur (in progress)
> selection (magic wand etc)
Known issues and TODO:
> add more file support for gif, emf, png, wmf etc
> color picker (i have source from my older projects)
> magnifier for perfect pixel editing
> overview window
> Single clicking the rainbow picker didnt move/update color selection. This is now implemented but not showing correct pixel at X,Y
> thumbnail viewer
feel free to add comments/feedback good or bad/issues, your wish list etc. im sure im missing many things off here, but this is the stepping stone. also avoid vector objects if possible, dont want to get into that yet
find attached:
screenshot image and compiled demo beta so far (safe to run, has been compressed and zipped for smaller size)
The end goal is to include this with my super editor (not been edited for some time due to my synax highlighter headaches) and make a application suite out of this.
credit is always given where due
cheers
