[RESOLVED] segments [confused]

Segments : I cannot get this concept

CS, the code segment register
DS, the data segment register
ES, an extra segment register
FS, another extra segment register 
GS, yet another extra segment register
SS, the stack segment register

Does any one have good refrence [or can some one explain] ?? -- I googled and read some but still very confused

Most processors have detailed information about their pointers, instructions and registers. You can probally get them of the site of Intel.
