Yeah, but it's the thought that counts.

Paul and td seem to have lost interest in me...they must be off with those Egyptian dancing girls you were talking about Parksie....so fickle these men.

So a friend of your son's really had a crush on you?
hehehe.. thats not really funny, but it seems that, that kind of stuff only happens on TV shows and movies..

Yeah...It was kind of sad. He was a good kid but his Mom was a piece of work. I don't think anyone had ever paid any attention to him before and he didn't quite know how to deal with it. He got over it...is in junior college now and doing quite well.
Benjamin

A piece of work?
which kind?
the kind that is mean, and always thinks of herself before her loved ones, or the kind that always steals attention away from her kids, etc..?
barrk
Jan 17th, 2001, 02:59 PM
The kind that is too busy telling her kids how awful they are to notice how awful she is!

Now back to Matthew...this is his thread after all.
Are you having fun driving?
Nah. I ain't got no crush on a Katie.
Sorry to disappoint you Katie .
and sorry to say this...but, I don't think I'd ever date a smoker.
SMOKING = BAD! :mad:
I do have a crush on a girl at skool though. She's a junior in my Bio class. She did fail it last year, taking it over again, but I'm glad, `cuz she's in my class (and she doesn't smoke) ;).
Already called her once :D.
I should again soon.
But anyways, I never have done it, probably never will..but having a boyfriend or girlfriend online? Is that ridiculous? I mean, sometimes it's good because you get a chance to meet people from around the World and then you may just fall in love with each other. But it is kind of stupid. Find someone REAL, not some Screen Name .
barrk
Jan 17th, 2001, 03:13 PM
I think I'll get over the rejection, Matthew....someday.
Going online is a great place to meet people but there's no substitute for the real thing. If the girl has failed biology she may appreciate a little help. Give her a call and ask if she needs you to tutor her!

bad Matthew!!! first of all, smoking is cool *Dennis takes drag, coughs and spits discolored teeth out*
and 2nd, in my opinion, online relationships are much better than real ones... you get a chance to get to know a person without looks getting in the way... when you know and love the person, looks won't matter... but when you first see somebody a stereotype is raised "he looks like a nerd", "he looks like a slob", "he looks like a jerk"... etc...
but on the internet, you know this person, and when you meet F2F, it doesn't matter because you've already been "with" the person for quite a bit of time.....
Ain't driving yet Katie :(.
I passed the test. I still have to do my 6 hours before I can have the permit handed to me.
6 hours of driving around.
Usually they do it 2 hours a day for 3 days.
But...it also cost $$$....about $200 :(.

Smoking is not cool...but it is a very hard habit to break.
Sound like the laws are a little different back East. My kids got training in school...got their permits...drove with me or my husband for six months and took their test to get the license...no cost involved at all.

I know that katie..... thats why I added the teeth-coughing-out comment aftarwards...

They just brought out new smoking laws here. You're no longer allowed to smoke in public places
