Hi,

I have just bought Visual Studio6 mainly for Visual Basic6 and I think its great but it has left a large hole in my pockets! The problem is, to use the help you must first install MSDN, When I say I want to install MSDN a box appears for me to enter the file location but I don't know which disk or Directory and there is far too many directorys for me to go around searching!!! Does anybody have Visual Studio6 and want to help? I would be vary greatful!!!!

Thanks

The MSDN disks (I got 2) come on their own CD's, you shouldn't have to do much in the way of searching. What the installer may be asking you is *where* you want to install the files.

Just use the default directory that it suggests. When you install it, make sure you select only the VB help and the index search, or you will get a lot of stuff you don't need.
