Get process ID on a network (open and kill the process)

Hi guys is there a way to get all the process on a network and kill it if its hang or open the application if it is not running. I have tried the wmi by robdog and it is a beauty actually on my local processes but i can not access the remote since we are just on a workgroup. I think of winsock maybe.
