Do you really get Donations for your freeware ?

It depends on whether the author asks for donations.

Trust me, if the author doesn't ask for them, no one is going to volunteer. :D

Having said that, even if the author does ask for them, giving is strictly up to the individual interested in the software.

If you have impressive software then there will be more chances of obtaining donations.
