Hi all.
Trying to get a computer up and running, and there's a device in the device list under 'other devices' called 'PCI mass storage controller' and I can't work out what it is. It's not installed properly, so basically it's something to do with the hardware that doesn't have drivers installed for it. Any idea where I might find the drivers? I thought maybe it was to do with the UDMA/100 controller on the motherboard (it has 2 EIDE UDMA/33/66 controllers and 2 EIDE UDMA/100 controllers) but I can't seem to find anything for it on the CD that came with the motherboard.
The thing is, it doesn't seem to cause any problems, so I can't pinpoint it that way. It's an ASUS A7V motherboard in case it matters (Socket A, VIA chipset).
So, anybody know what a PCI mass storage controller is for?
