Talking Crystal Report Merge modules & PDW

    helo,
How do we include the merge module/redist package of cr9 into the PDW setup. Do we simply add it as another file or we need to do something more?

How is merge module diff from redist package.

Is the merge module downloaded from 'Randem systems' diff from that of 'business objects'
sorry if I had packed too many questions in a single post...

    Thanks everybody

No need to add merge module in it just add the related or missing dll of the crystal report!
add database.dll it is necessary then it will work

for more detail just read crystal report tutorial at my signature.

search all the three dll in your computer and add them in the PND setup!
it is necessary to add all the missing dll in the setup other wise the setup will create problem at the client side.

You cannot use the Merge Modules with PDW as it stands PDW does not support such things. Forget about finding the dlls and adding them that is old theories and prone to error that is why CR developed the merge modules. I take it you want to stay with PDW but those are the headaches involded with PDW. Sorry...

No headaches with P&DWiz with your CR version. Just check out the runtime requirements for your code and add the appropriate files to your package. Here is teh link for 8.5 but Im sure you can use it or search for 9.0.
