this might even be dumb

ive just written an activeX control that generates a set of coordinates. I want to able to embed this control into a web page and somehow have the control update a javascript or vbscript variable on the webpage. the point is, i need to able to send these coordinates back to the server using a cgi-script.
i have experience in vb6, but this is my first activeX control ever.
