There was a "problem with the database" but it seems to be okay now, Are you still having the problem?

I've asked the tech guys (Systems) to look into the site and see if something is happening.

I use IE6 and I don't experience the problem.

Brad, could you also ask them to look at the problem with images that I mentioned in the Moderators forum?

The issues in search might have to do with another issue. We are talking with the server guys. Stay tuned -- things should get better.

It's only the "create sql alias" query that triggers it.

Search for those exact terms in that order and you get the error.

When I searched on "create sql alias" (and I used the quotes), I got this. (http://www.vbforums.com/search.php?searchid=1339131)

I did it without the quotes and while before I got an error it is working now.

We banned a few spiders from the forum late last week. The spiders were slowing things down - which would cause search errors and such.

Things should be better this week :)
