Hmm, have you tried again after the 60 seconds? Also, take the extra space from the end of my user name.

Aight, in that case, after some research, it looks like it's most likely a server time error, which will require an admin to fix. Hold tight. :)

Well, you seem just to have triggered it through a particular set of circumstances, whatever they may be. I tried on a regular account, and was unable to replicate it. There are several reasons why it can happen, so it's a bit difficult to track down.
But it's not your fault. :)

I see nothing wrong on the site or in the configurations. As such, we'll have to let Joe take a look. If he can't figure it out, then he can forward it to the network admins.

Folks, when describing a problem with the forum, please include system specs, OS, Browser, and connection type/speed. It helps. thanks
However with this issue, there's nothing for me to check. All the settings are as they should be. Have you tried another browser, or another PC?

Joe - is there a date/time stamp stored in the database for an individual? if so, then maybe this got out of whack. This would require a DBA to take a look at the record for issues.
(just reaching for ideas....)

No, that should be uniform for all. That's in the posts/threads table. Don't even think there's a setting governing it.

So,
this incredibly large variable number is stored somewhere in the posts/threads table.
is it possible to find such a large number with a query?
Or is it a function that returns the seconds from the last sent PM's datetime stamp?
It must be tagged to zuperman in some fashion, right?

Zuperman,
if you go to your track messages usercp area,
http://www.vbforums.com/private.php?do=trackpm
what is the datetime on your last sent message?
hmmm, it might not be listed there.
Unless you requested a read receipt.

Zuperman, I respect that you are accepting that this is not much of a problem but this could happen to someone else who needs the PM functionality.
What date you send the last successful post?

Ok.
How about this.
Either:
Some mod, who has superhuman access to ALL of the database, tell us what the datetimestamp of your last PM was
OR...
You tell us who was your last successful PM to, and WE'LL contact him to tell us what that PM's datetime stamp was.
Personally, I think JPNYC would be easily able to do point #1, but He's a busy man, and perhaps we shouldn't bother him with something so trivial as your problems.

Ask him to delete it.
Welll, why stop at half measures???
Why not have JPNYC {MG! For the longest of time, I always thought it was JPynk} Just erase the DBase of every single PM you've ever done?
Shouldn't that solve things????

If every PM you've ever sent is deleted,
Then it should then sense that you've never sent any.
I'd think that'd solve your issue.

Zuperman -
Since you are having PM issues, I'll post this here....
Can you delete the PM you sent to JPinto with the titel of "portugueses"? That is the post that has messed up. We might need to see if JPinto can delete this too.
Delete that PM, then see if the timer issue goes away. Let me know.

Unless someone else ends up reporting the same issue, I'm going to call this a hiccup in the system and assume it is a one time issue. If it happen again, we know the quick fix now (which requires a DBA).
