I have recently upgraded from Crystal Bundled with VS 2002 to Crystal XI. I have been all over the Crystal support sight and even opened a support case with them. Needless to say I have made no progress. This is what is going on.

I have an application (VB.NET) that (pushes) the dataset to the report. This works fine unless the report has a secondary database that is (pulled) into the report. The secondary database is recognized in the report designer but win I try to view it in the Report Viewer I get errors. As I one by one remove the references to the secondary database I get different errors (expected). When all of the references to the secondary database are gone the report displays. The bad part is it displays without the secondary database.

I tested the report by connecting directly to the database and not have it pushed and it works fine. It also worked fine before I upgraded from the bundled version.

Is it possible that Pushing and Pulling a database are not compatible in Crystal XI?

I have been checking out all the threads on this form and thinking about not pushing the data at all. All the other places I looked at it seemed very difficult to change the database location. Here you all make it look simple.
