Help with Ringer Profile app

Hey everyone,

I am trying to come up with a ringer profile app for my pda phone. I would like to make a few difference profiles that when selected the ringer settings are reset to match the provile. For example if I select the "Meeting" profile then it would change the ringer to vibrate and ring once. Or if I select an "Outdoor" profile the ringer is reset to extra loud with multiple rings.

I am able to setup the "profile manager" aspect of the app but I am unsure how to control the ringer settings in the phone.

Does anyone know how to control what the ringer settings on the phone are?
