Problem with Visual studio Installer

When the application was installled with Installation Package created by MS Visual Studio installer, the application icon is not coming under the Start Menu>Programs group. Instead, It is shown as a seperate group at the top portion of startmenu. Any way to get around this problem Pls Help......(Olny in XP in win 98 its OK)

Hi shajahanvall,

To make it appear as a sub-group of PROGRAMS, you need to create the PROGRAMS folder under User's Start Menu first. (This has to be done manually.) Then you need to create another sub-group under PROGRAMS for your group.

Use the File System object that shows in the Project Explorer window to bring up the required main screen.
