DOhh, oh well, the pints are cheaper up here anyway, sherry isn't to badly priced either
Actually started out using 8 inch floppies...but quickly massaged that in to one mother of a hard disk. You needed a crane to put it in.
Ian
Whoa 30 pound per hour...(damn we don't have that symbol on our keyboards anymore)...just give me a moment with the currency translation....gee that comes out at roughly $250 Aussie dollars an hour. You get paid more than a high priced hooker. Way to go big fella.

Sorry Harry that was a local joke....l earn a $million dollars AUS per year, which means l am just above the poverty line in the US....that sort of thing.
Actually the dollar surfed up to 55c US this morning, maybe will be able to make vbits next year after all. Was looking dicey when the AUS Dollar was heading below 50c US.
So 30-40 pounds is good in the UK ????????????? We keep getting contacted by an agency in london looking for warm bodies...l don't think these guys realise Australian isn't in Surrey.

Yes we are rather pleased about that fact down under. Ah yes another country to decimate in the cricket. It should be 15 in a row we meet your lay abouts, then it's going to be twenty in a row.

I guess I don't. What's a carry on film?
Basically you had these hard disks which you couldn't lift which held approx 30 meg of data. So you would link twenty or so together in an air conditioned room, and employ a priest hood to ensure they keeped working.
Man those disks had a better working environment than us poor smucks in the programming department. Only advantage was they would crash every hour or so allowing us to improve our hall cricket.

I thought we were :)
Carry on films were a great series of English comedy movies with basically all the same actors....caren't remember any of their names. Sort of Benny Hill on steriods.
For further English humour, (if you exclude the cricket team), score some "Ab Fab" episodes. Pattsy had a huge following in the gay community downunder. Oops, not that anyone is gay down here of course.

I would not call katie uncouth, after all she is an American and certain things are allowed in that country, especially in Kentucky and Virginia.
