How goes it mate, we haven't spoken to each other much over the last couple of months. How's life in London?

Hiya mate.

Life in london would be good, if i was there. I am in Bristol at the minute. Last year of uni and all that. And i tell you what, i am getting to the point where i had wished i had stayed on at my placement and given up uni.

Fianl year project is boring me, family history program, e-commerce module is a load of rubbish, reviewing seagates online business to customer soloution right now.

Still, at least i only have about 5 months of actual uni left. Then i will be out in the big bad world causing mahem for end users again. :) AT least i have a job lined up, though i am going to look for better offers.

How have you been mate, causing mahem in manchester wasnt it? ;)

well you've always got your dissitation to look foward to . Manchester is quite a nice place. Every one is friendly and although it's a major city, it's a slower way of life than London. Had to get used to being called lad and love everywhere I go. The funniest thing is that I don't class myself as having a posh accent, but every where I go, people think I'm some sort of toft.
A nice thing is that I'm arranging a drink with Arbiter to prove that southerners can drink and don't just drink sherry

all the best

Ian

(sorry about the london thing)

Hehe, i know that feeling well. I ususually live in Buckinghamshire, try saying that without sounding posh, and everyone thinks i am some arrogant grammar school boy. The thing is, that is exactly what i am, but i dont have a posh accent, in fact it is just a neutral accent really.

And the damn vending machine at uni just at my money and now i cant get my snickers bar out of it. *sigh*

I know what your saying mate. My accent is a cross between a proper sussex boy and south London, but up here i'm like an earl or something.

The only downside at the moment is that I have absolutley no social life apart from saturday. I know nobody up here so my evenings are pretty boring (Sitting in my b&b, reading or watching tv). I drive home on a friday night, spend all day saturday getting things done that I need to and seeing my mates. Sunday I pack, see my parents for a sunday roast :D and then drive back up here in the afternoon. And that is my week. Oh well not too long left to do this.
