Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : What's a good book for learning PHP?

Dec 19th, 2000, 06:52 AM
Bearing in mind that I'm competant (hope I spelled that right! :)) using ASP and setting up a web server and don't want a book where the first 5 chapters are completely patronising.

I'm after something like "Learning PHP for ASP Programmers".

Anyone got any good suggestions?

I think Microsoft banned those types of books :)

Seriously, there's a manual somewhere at http://www.php.net.

No problem at all. Anything for someone who's willing to ditch Microsoft and use something that was developed by high school students and l337 h4x0rz, eh? /me runs of bawling.
