help with a small prob
cant get my head round this one
The gross mass of a tank of water is 7.250kg. There are 4.750l in the tank. What is the mass of the tank in kg.

Density of water: 1.0 g/cm3
Conversion factor: 1 cm3 = 1 ml

cheers for the conversions m8 but i still cant work it, im abit rusty and this is for my lad so he needs the workings out but by getting it he can practice on others questions of this type.

All the way through, then:
1.0g/cm3 * 1cm3/ml * 1000ml/l * 0.001kg/g = 1.0kg/l
That is, 1 litre of water has a mass of 1 kg.
