    installer

    can anyone tell me if theres an installer in vb6 and where i can find it

    please would love to see how it works

    what do you mean, you need to install vb6 or you need a program that will install your program?

    It is called the Package & Deployment Wizard and is found

    Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 -> Microsoft Visual Studio Tools 6.0

    Typically installed at

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Wizards\PDWizard\PDCMDLN.EXE"

    Or, try Inno Setup
    Use [CODE] tags and rate useful posts

    VB: MSDN VBnet DevX vbAccelerator
    DB: W3Schools SQL TechOnTheNet's Oracle/PLSQL ConnectionStrings
    Misc (IT): Use XP look (manifest) in your apps (sample) MZ-Tools (free and cool VB add-in) Deploy your apps with Inno Setup
    Misc: Zeitgeist Movie

    ... so make the best of this test and don't ask why, it's not a question, but a lesson learned in time...
