Cartoon-style rendering in 3DS

Hi all,
Im sure you know the rendered backgrounds (ie. found in Futurama), so anyone knows a way to render things like that or maybe theres a plugin? (I use 3DS R3)

There is one Plugin called Comic Shader (i think so), but I think it is only for Max 2.x
