I recently purchased the Works 2001 Suite for the sole use of the bundled Word 2000 product. I did a custom installation and selected for only Word to be installed.
This is where the problems start.
The installation ran the IE 5.5 setup, then a quick percentage bar saying 'Adding Works Components', and then installed Word itself. Now every 5 minutes the computer connects out through the proxy server to go to the following site...

I can find no way to stop this happening, I have searched the registry and all start-up locations, but yet you dont even know the thing is trying to connect apart from the log reports given by the proxy server.
If anyone can help it would be most apprieciated as this is becoming a very urgent problem for me.
