exporting multiple excel files then append to MS Access tables

Hi,

Does anybody can help me with this one? I want to do codes in VBA MS access.

I have 3 different excel file (file1.xls,file2.xls,file3.xls). How can I possibly do a multiple excel selection in MS access then check each file name.

a = excelfile

if a= file1.xls then

append to table1 '(table in access)

elseif a = file2.xls then
append to table1 '(table in access)

elseif a = file3.xls then
append to table1 '(table in access)

endif.


I want to remove the header of the excel file before append. Is there a technique to remove how many rows to delete before it wil be append to specific table?
