You need to consider that it is a sort of wrapper for VBScript, so it isn't intended as a speed demon. But if you like VB6 you'll love the NS Basic IDE and will find programming easy.

There are also versions for WinCE, Palm, and even Newton.

I converted a few VB6 programs without much work. I won't say it takes them unchanged by any means though. It is VBScript after all.
