Active sync error in windows ce 5.0 --urgent help please

hi..
i created a new proj in windows ce 5.0
when i try to run i cnt find windwos ce 5.0 emulator..
i downloaded the emulator .. but i dnt know how to connect this
emulator to my visual studio project.
i cnt find emulator when i run the projj...
help me how to test it...

Hi,

You would need a SDK also to be installed so that you can run the emulator. You could for for Windows Mobile SDK. VS 2005 comes with Pocket PC and SmartPhone SDK. In case you want a Windows Mobile SDK, it can be freely downloaded and installed.

I also had a question to ask, just like you I also have a Win CE 5.0 device, but when I try connecting it through Active Sync, it gives and error that device is not detected. I am not able to figure out why. Any suggestion from your side would be more than welcome.
