Do you really know all the language in your signature???

I'm osting this because a lot of pple on this forum
have like 10 different programmation language??
WHY??
Do you know all of them or you just lern it in school?

Cuz i can do the same

here's what i've learned:

Visual Basic,C,C++,COBOL,SQL,PL-SQL,SQL Plus,Assembly,
Oracle,VBA,HTML,Javascript,ASP,VBScript,DOS..

but here's what i'm using:

Visual Basic,SQL,HTML,Javascript,ASP,VBScript.

Why put everything if you don't even remember how to do it.

I don't have all the "languages" I know in my sig,
it just has the few that I uses almost on a dialy
basis. I could list a load more that I know and
use (just not as often), but who cares? :)

i dont know any of them in and out
but i am familiar with most of these
and can even write useful apps
if you can write a usefull app in a language
i think you can claim you know it (doesnt mean you know it well)

I agree that some people go a little OTT on what they put in theirs though.

Think I might change mine now to include:
E+ - Amiga
Amos Basic - Amiga
Blitz Basic -Amiga
BASIC - Spectrum
BASIC - Vic20

not that I can remmember any of them!

...and then again, maybe not ;)

I am afraid it all started out quite innocently. It was meant to be an indicator of what version and service pack of VB you were running.

Now people just put as many TLAs there as they can. :rolleyes:

I can write HTML, VBScript, Javascript, ASM, EPSILON, GWBASIC, QBASIC, PASCAL, TI-83, Dos batch files, Win.ini, config.sys, design electronic circuits and turing machines, write myself a todo list... besides those i've decided to have in my signature
But what use would it be to put all them there?

Oh, and i can program a washing machine, my new mp3 cd-player and instruct my friends asking qwestions on icq. I have a programable clock too, and then i can program the video, and i can of course set the alarm on most clocks, hmmm...

-my VCR
-my microwave
-my alarm clock

- Jethro - Kovan and Harry! Especially Jethro Hahahah1!! Damn i thought you were smarter than that, you don't program your shoes ;) Programming means implemention of algoritms, not performing them :p

Oh and, i think i have to program my toaster so that i can get something to eat in a couple of minutes.
