Problem setting up Java...?
Hello guys
I have upgraded my machine and am now using Windows XP Professional 64-bit SP1 OS and have installed the latest JDK and IE plugin... i use Editplus for coding/compiling and everything works fine... except for one thing - i can't run any of my applets.
I was just wondering if anybody would please be so kind as to talk me through setting it up so i can run applets please?

Re: Problem setting up Java...?
Latest JRE is installed... my Java programs work fine, it's just applets... when i try to run an applet i get:
DOS Window opens (C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe) with Press any key to continue . . .
I can't work out what's wrong

Have you set up an html file for the applet? What's your applet code look like?
*Right click the java icon in the system tray and pull up the console. Tell me what it says.
