Hi everyone

Ok well I have an idea and would like your help on setting it up. It's so early yet I will have to learn much of how to do it from scratch but hey thats life...

This is what I will need:

1. some sort of login
2. members can post items for a fee (abit like ebay but way simpler)
3. members can also search through posts/lists
4. they need to be able to contact each other (pref through the site like ebay has its own inbox)

Well that's the basic template. I know I've mentioned ebay there but no way am I expecting to copy that site. I just need features which are also on there.

Compared to you guys I'm more or less a newbie so please any advice will be appreciated!!! I know this involves SQL and PHP, HTML etc - but could other sites help me like maybe Joomla or Mambo etc???
