This leading financial solutions company is seeking an Analyst Programmer to support and maintain applications that are primarily used by the Asset Management business. You will also assist the business in analysis for new systems that are required and work to deliver these.


Role responsibilities will include :

* Analyse functional specifications to determine design approach.
* Liaise with Business Analysts to develop clearly defined solutions and technical specifications.
* Liaise with other developers to ensure specifications and solution is in line with the business requirements.
* Develop high level Design specifications for sign off.
* Generate program test data and conduct testing, code and de-bug complex programs.
* Perform feasibility studies for establishing new or revised systems.
* Monitor system effectiveness in satisfying User needs during implementation
* Train User personnel in use of new or amended systems.
* Update and modify existing programs from detailed specification.
* Prepare and maintain programs, system technical and procedural documentation to conform to the appropriate standards.
* Implement upgrades or new software following an Operational Model.

Essential skills include :

* SQL
* VB6 and some VB.Net knowledge
* Crystal Reports
* MS Access
