Our client is a growing, dynamic company providing cost-effective, user-friendly software solutions to small and medium commercial banks throughout the United States. Their products are standards-based, and emphasize ease-of-use and seamless integration with existing legacy systems. Our client’s offering addresses strategic management concerns common to many industries, including how to effectively:

Disperse company-internal information throughout the organization.
Access, manage, and leverage customer-centric information.
Address operational inefficiencies through software automation of key processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will perform enhancements of existing web application frameworks, as well as new development within ASP.NET/SQL frameworks. Product development will follow MSF design and methodology for coding & testing, user acceptance testing, and structured migration to production within a team environment.

• Collaboration with Project teams on product strategy and design,
including physical design specification documents.

• Working with a development team of Business Analysts, QA, Project
Managers and client contributors to design, maintain, and support
intranet and system integration solutions.

• Systems and applications development with Microsoft .NET
Framework, web services, MS SQL Server stored procedures, and
ASP.NET.

• Building and coding applications and/or modules using languages
such as VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc.

• Prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program
development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions
of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition,
programming techniques, and controls.

• Providing incident analysis and resolution, and customer care for
current customer base on deployed solutions.

• Provide maintenance and upgrades to existing systems.


REQUIREMENTS

The requirements described below are target qualifications for the ideal candidate. It is not expected that candidates will meet all these qualifications.

• Familiarity with MSF design and methodology for coding & testing,
user acceptance testing and structured migration to production
within a team environment.

• Two or more years experience in ASP.NET 1.1 development with
SQL 2000 or above.

• Understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework, web services, and
ASP.NET.

• Experience developing in ASP, VB, SQL, XML, HTML.

• Familiarity with object oriented and component based programming
in C# and VB.NET.

• Thorough understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Stored
Procedures preferred.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• Familiarity with IDEs including Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio
2003, Visual Studio 6, etc.

• Familiarity with n-tier, component based, loosely coupled,
asynchronous application development.

• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and developing and
exposing software components as Web Services.

• Experience with secure coding principles & practices.

• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work at an abstract level and be able to set the technical
direction in the context of ambiguity.


EDUCATION

• A four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or
equivalent professional experienceand/or training.

• MCAD desired.

• Team orientation and constructive attitude.

• Strong focus on timely completion of projects and attention to
detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and balance workload
based on priority of assignments.

• Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision.
