Capgras' Syndrome: Capgras' Syndrome is a disorder in which the victim holds the belief that close acquaintances of theirs, usually a family member, a relative or a spouse has been replaced by a duplicate, an imposter. The original being eliminated, possibly by alien abduction. Such people live in paranoia.

Fregoli's Syndrome: This disorder is something the opposite of Capgras' Syndrome. With Fregoli's Syndrome, a victim is able to "recognize" strangers because he believes that they are all, in fact, the same person in different disguises. Such people live in paranoia as well.

Cotard's Syndrome: Cotard's syndrome is a disorder in which the victim believes that he is dead or that he does not exist or that he has lost an essential set or part of his organs in a way that denies his existence (such as no heart or no blood). Such people tend to live under delusions of immortality.
